About NAAMS Standards

NAAMS Global Standard Components for Assembly and Stamping are produced and maintained through collaboration between Ford Motor Company, General Motors Company, Stellantis and their respective suppliers. They describe and define approved components utilized to design and manufacture Stamping Dies and Tooling for vehicle body and assembly production. This effort began under the Auto/Steel Partnership in 1992 and was transferred to the United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR) in 2010.
